Green Compost and Yard Waste CartYard Waste Vouchers
Each calendar year you will receive twelve yard waste vouchers. These vouchers allow you to drop yard waste off at the San Martin Transfer Station. You will receive six yard waste vouchers in December and six more yard waste vouchers in June.

Yard waste consists of leaves, grass, and pruning clippings only. The yard waste material must be 100% clean, with no garbage mixed in. Please use the list of unacceptable items printed on the voucher as a guide. Please contact us before you come to the transfer station if you have any questions about what we accept as yard waste.

Please do not leave yard waste in plastic bags at the transfer station. Empty your yard waste on to the compost pile and take the bag with you for re-use or dispose of it in the trash.

Clean Up/Recycle Voucher
Each December you will receive one Clean-Up/Recycle voucher. This voucher allows you to bring extra items for recycling and disposal to the San Martin Transfer Station. The Clean-Up/Recycle voucher is good for two trips to the transfer station. One side of the voucher is called a Recycle Voucher and lists items that will be recycled. The other side is a Clean-up Voucher and lists items that will be put into the landfill (except for tires). Please make sure items are separated in your vehicle, not mixed together.

Please read the vouchers carefully before using them!
